Have you ever had anyone in your life, be it Mom, Grandma, or an older neighbor, that you always ran to when you wanted to know something? Maybe it was what to do to naturally take care of a cold. Perhaps it was ideas on how to survive an extended power outage. Maybe it is how to make something from scratch.
Perhaps that person slipped away and you never got a chance to keep the information that you held so dear so that you could refer to it later. You lost a piece of your life that you wish you could get back.
Welcome to Grandma’s House
This site is a combination of Grandma’s, Mom’s or that Neighbor or Aunt that you respected and want to compile all of the information you want to keep for future reference or to even pass on to future generations.
We are going to talk here. Stay and have a visit. Everyone will get a chance to respond to different topics or questions, or perhaps an opinion piece.
Ground rules are the same as Grandma’s house would be.
Respect others.
No abusive language or singling out those who do not agree with your experiences or views.
This is a place where everyone gets to share what is important in their life and what they want to add to the memory box for topics and questions.
By contributing to this site, you are agreeing to abide by the rules. Grandma (or person of respect that you want to think of me as) has the last say, it is her house you are visiting. I reserve the right to withhold any posts that do not abide by the rules.
On the positive side, I look forward to seeing all of the different perspectives, memories, and insights that everyone brings to our gathering place here.
Meanwhile, we have a place waiting just for you. Pull up a chair. Kick up your feet. Let’s talk and visit for a while.
Welcome home!
Your host,
Gramma Vivian
